The Farm Line Support Service        is a front-line, critical telephone support help line for farmers and rural families in Ontario.

Toll free access to the confidential and bilingual service permits farm and rural families in Ontario access to peer support on agricultural subjects, addressing issues and situations ranging from financial to legal to personal, family and mental health.  Peer support is crucial when dealing with farm issues. Most professional counselors are not familiar with crops, animals, quota and the great stress generated by farm crisis situations.

The Farm Line Support Service website offers additional self-help information on a variety of subjects, as well as information on upcoming events/workshops/conferences, links to other resources and many more items of interest to farm and rural families. The telephone support team replies to email requests for support and offers referral to public resources when deemed appropriate.
